Courtney admitted to suffering from anorexia as a result of pressure on the set of the now defunct Ally McBeal. She was quoted as saying 'I wanted to be one of those people with thin arms' in an issue of NW Magazine last year, and admitted to running 13kms a day while surviving on only 500 calories per day. Her weight loss was obvious at the Golden Globe awards in January 2000 (pictured) however she has now recovered and is healthy and happy.
